CAJINTO & YAMBÚ |
Cajinto and Yambú Drums
combine traditional Cuban Cajon sounds with the
highest manufacturing quality: “made in
Germany”.
The instruments that belong to the Cajon family
enchant us with soft wooden playing surfaces and
produce all the nuances of modern percussion sounds,
ranging from high, assertive characteristics to
voluminous bass sounds. |

CC
202 Roland Peil Signature Cajinto
w/o floor stand
The playing surface: Beechwood
Resonance box: 7-layered Alder,
approx. 27 x 27 x 30 cm
he playing surface, which is 2/3 rough, has proved
ideal for playing with rods and brushes as well
as with the typical hand-playing technique. Thanks
to its 2inOne-Technique, a wide spectrum of sound
can be achieved,
ranging from originally Cuban sounds to banging
rimshots when used as a snare. |

204 Cajinto Solo w/o floor stand
Playing surface: Beechwood
Resonance box: 7-layered Alder,
approx. 27 x 27 x 30 cm
The Cajinto Solo makes a shining impression
by combining the Cajon sound with the succinct
pitches of a Quinto. The partially screwed playing
surface makes it possible to produce razor-sharp
slaps by using the typical conga playing technique.
By loosening the screws, these slaps can be
intensified with a typical Cajon wood-smacking
effect! The advantages of the 2inOne-Snare technique
can be used as well.

206 Bass Cajinto incl. floor stand
Playing surface: Beechwood
Resonance box: 7-layered Alder,
approx. 27 x 27 x 61 cm
Height: with Stand approx. 73 cm
Its construction is very similar to that of
its “little sisters” – the
only visible difference is the much deeper resonance
box which provides for a convincing and rich
bass. Thanks to the 2inOne cross-bar, the player
of this drum might easily take for granted the
magnificent snare sound at his/her disposal.
The Bass-Cajinto is also delivered with an ingeniously
simple, yet solid wooden stand.

Booster
Set
There will always be percussionists who aren‘t
thrilled with a traditional drumset, just as
there will always be drummers whose reaction
is restrained when it comes to percussion. This
is a good thing. The Booster Set finds the perfect
solution – for percussionists and drummers.
The symbiosis of drum set and Cajon with all
the advantages of sound and playability. The
combination of Booster Boxx and Cajinto makes
no compromises for people who are looking for
an impressive Drum&Bass-Kit, who need a
compact drum set for their gigs and/or want
to integrate the ultimate groove machine into
their percussion setup. |
